Nice job, Tom. I like a song like this with intelligent lyrics that support more than one level of interpretation.
I can also identify with once living along a brook that ended up being dammed by beavers and flooding, now living 160 ft. up a hill from the “new” brook across the road.

One of the last songs written for the 14 tune CD. Based on where I thought a lot of songs were sitting, I wanted a lighter, up tempo number, and then at least one waltz (next post).
