TAKING A HOLIDAY
GOT PLENTY A GAS / THERE’S AN OPEN ROAD
AND I’M STARTIN TO LIST A PILE A STUFF I WANNA UNLOAD
WEIGHING EVERYTHING DOWN / AND MAKING A FROWN
AND THE TIME IS RIGHT TO CLOSE THIS EPISODE
AND SO I’M TAKING A HOLIDAY
FAMILIAR WALLS / KEEPA CLOSIN IN
AND A LOTTA THINGS I USED TO DIG START WEARIN THIN
NEED A HIDING PLACE / IN ANOTHER SPACE
TO CLEAR MY HEAD ELIMINATE THE SPIN
AND SO I’M TAKING A HOLIDAY
SOMEWHERE TO FIND SOME SOLITUDE
EASE UP MY MIND
MIGHT BE THE TICKET
BEEN WAITING TO FIND
THE GRASS IS GREENER / IN ANY OTHER LAWN
FROM WHATEVER PIECE OF EARTH YOU MIGHT BE STANDING ON
BUT IT’S OK / A LITTLE HOLIDAY
CLEARS THE NIGHT AWAY / A BRAND NEW DAWN
AND SO I’M TAKING A HOLIDAY
Way to rock. Shades of Thin Lizzy……
Hey Mikey,
Didn’t think of that, but I think you’re right. Somebody else suggested Stone Temple Pilot jamming with Foo Fighters.
It was fun for sure.
Thank You,
Tommy Boy
