BIO

Tom Savoy is a singer/songwriter, performer/recording artist living in Western Massachusetts, appearing solo at regional venues accompanied by acoustic guitar and stomp box, occasionally with his Duo. His very large cover and original song repertoire draws from a wide range of musical styles, piquing interest among audiences with broad, deep cut and A & B side tastes. Every performance features a unique setlist.

As an multi-instrumental recording artist, Tom and longtime producer/friend Wes Talbot partnered years back to build a large catalog of original song recordings. They began an unusual process that employed their two studios, starting in Studio 81 where Tom writes the music and lyrics while recording all instruments and vocals. When completed, those tracks were transferred to Wes’ studio for discussion, mixing and final mastering. There are currently 70+ mastered recordings offered in high resolution MP3s posted on this website.

In 2016, Tom and Wes formed the publishing Company Twelve Days Apart Publishing (BMI), and released 4 full length albums on CD, each featuring 13 original master song recordings, printed lyric booklets and tasty packaging.

While working on the completion of Tom’s fifth full length album Higher Road, Wes tragically passed away after a long illness. But with all the album’s music tracks already completed, Tom reconnected with producer/friend Dave LaSalata, who stepped in to beautifully mix and master the final 3 songs while mastering the entire album, honoring Wes’ legacy with what proved to be the last music work of his life. Chris Woods once again spearheaded all artwork and graphic production.

Dave and Tom are currently at work on an upcoming full length album, with two of the songs in the can.
